Clause intelligence · Contract estate · Series undisclosed

Every contract you have ever signed is quietly disagreeing with itself.

Clausemate deploys autonomous clause agents across your contract estate to surface latent obligations, reconcile positional drift, and return your legal function to a state of continuous readiness.

  1. 1. Based on an internal study of one contract, which we wrote, about ourselves.
  2. 2. Faster than what was never established. Faster.
  3. 3. Exposure avoided by declining to enter the agreement at all, a method available to you today at no cost.
  4. 4. We can name more than eleven. Eleven is where the slide stopped, and the slide became the number.

Platform

One reasoning layer across the entire contract lifecycle

Four capabilities, arranged in a grid, because that is how capabilities are arranged.

Extraction

Obligation register

Clausemate reads every executed agreement and produces a structured register of what you have actually promised: renewal dates, notice periods, caps on liability, the indemnity you agreed to in 2019 and have thought about most days since. It arrives as a table, which is the format legal teams have been requesting since roughly 1994.

Negotiation

Autonomous redlining

Our agents negotiate directly with the counterparty's agents. For eleven hours neither side concedes anything. They then jointly produce a mutual non-disclosure agreement that no human requested, attach it to the wrong thread, and mark the matter closed.

Monitoring

Positional drift

Every standard template migrates away from itself, one accepted edit at a time. Clausemate tracks that migration and alerts you at the precise moment your template stops resembling anything you would have approved. Alerts are delivered at 4:50pm on Fridays, for operational reasons we have chosen not to examine.

Roadmap

Pre-cognitive risk

Clausemate identifies problematic clauses before they are drafted, by inferring them from the general mood of the deal team. This capability has not been built, tested, or seriously discussed, and appears here because the grid looked unbalanced with three.

Implementation

Live in weeks, not quarters

STEP 01

Connect your repository

Point Clausemate at wherever your executed agreements live. For most organisations this is three systems and a shared drive that one person understands.

STEP 02

We index your contract estate

Indexing takes six to eight weeks and is referred to internally as the part where we find out. You will be kept informed in the sense that the status page will exist.

STEP 03

Your team reviews the register

Two people will open it. One of them will be you. The other will be the person who championed the purchase and now has a professional stake in the outcome.

STEP 04

Value is realised

Realisation is a customer-side activity and falls outside the scope of the subscription. Our customer success team is available to discuss the difference.

STEP 05

There is no step five

There is, however, a quarterly business review, at which steps one through four are presented again with a new accent colour.

Trust & compliance

Enterprise-grade, in the visual sense

Security is the foundation of everything we have not built.

  • SOC 2 Type II
  • ISO 27001
  • GDPR
  • CCPA
  • HIPAA (unnecessary, obtained anyway)
  • FedRAMP (pending, permanently)

Clausemate holds none of these certifications, because holding one requires a company, a product, and at least one server. The badges were the achievable part, so we started there. Data residency is offered in the EU, the US, and a third region that appears on the diagram but has never been named out loud.

Customer stories

What our customers would say

Written by us, about us, in the voices of people who do not exist, at companies that also do not exist. This is the only section where we have been entirely upfront about the process, and it is not obvious that it reads differently from the others.

“We replaced four paralegals with Clausemate, then rehired all four to operate Clausemate.”

Frequently asked questions

The part where the joke stops

Is any of this real?

No. Clausemate is not a company, a product, a waiting list or a plan. It is a placeholder page sitting on a domain I registered during the pre-LLM legaltech era, back when putting “clause” and “mate” next to each other felt like a promising start.

The subdomains do real work. This one does not.

What do the buttons do?

They bring you here. All of them. Book a demo, talk to sales, request a quote, sign in, download the report — every one is an anchor link to this section. That is the entire funnel, and it converts at one hundred per cent.

Are you collecting anything about me?

No. There are no forms, no analytics, no cookies, no fonts or scripts loaded from anywhere else, and no way for this page to learn anything about you. It is a single file of HTML. Your browser fetched it, and that was the whole interaction.

Why does it look like this?

Because every legal tech site looks like this, and the resemblance is the point. The metrics with unfootnoted footnotes, the logo wall of companies you cannot quite place, the three-tier pricing where the middle one says “contact sales” — none of that was invented here.

If you recognised your own homepage in any section above, it was not aimed at you specifically. It was aimed at all of you, collectively, and with some affection.

Do you want to sell the domain?

You are welcome to ask. Be aware that the subdomains are in active use for things that actually function, which complicates the conversation considerably and probably ends it.

Is there really no product?

There is really no product. If at some point there is one, this page will say so plainly and the footnotes will be removed, with regret.

Ready to transform your contract estate?

You are not, and neither are we. But the button belongs here, structurally, and leaving it out would have been conspicuous.
